Ready for the Seals!
Out of several attempts, this was actually the best shot where you can see how short the hair is. It's about 1.5" at the top, and it all stands straight up. I'm thinking of going to just 1" next, or maybe going for a crew cut.

I like it! Now just think how much you'll save in hair products.
do you do this sort of thing every so often? i seem to remember you blogging about at least one prior short hair experience.
perhaps the tag/label for this should be "the artist with short hair?"
margaret -- I'm not sure how much I'll save...I never even washed my hair all that often before (which was one of the issues). And now I might have to invest in gels and such, although I'm gonna go without and see what it does.
gl -- This is only the 2nd time I've done it. Last time it was more of a lark and I grew it out pretty quickly. This time, I think it's for keeps. I think I'm just done with long hair for a long while, until I get tired of having to get it cut all the time.
I'm so inspired that I'm going to do the same thing. Also with the beard.
