Power outage

We lost power late in the evening last night, while we were out on our walk. It was out for quite a while, so we lit a few candles, enough to see to get ready for bed, and went to bed. I wasn't able to continue printing, just as well, I got some pretty good rest instead.

So, today, I finished printing pages 1b, 1c, & 6c, and printed the backgrounds on 2a, 2c, 3b, 4a, & 6a. This is the set up for printing 1c. That's a page template under the mylar:

And here's the opening page (1b) and the next page. Those are supposed to be 4 little containers of eye shadows.



A shot of the background on some of the inside pages. Those are the same eye shadows after the containers have been opened. And they're closed again on the last page.



The Painted Veil turned out to be a very lovely movie. Wonderful scenery and acting. And we're off to see Letters from Iwo Jima tonight.
